Lower Decks

Welcome to the brand new Lower Decks.

For the in-depth history of this website, dating way back to 1997, check out our About page.  The long and short of it, though, is that we are some of the biggest fans of science fiction, fantasy and horror genres and we like to watch television shows and movies and read novels and comic books set in those respective genres.  And we like to talk about what we watch and read.  Lower Decks — and our Observation Lounge BBS — is where we can do that.

We chose September 1st, 2008 as the launch date for our revamped website because the 2008-2009 television season will begin this month in only a few weeks.  Officially, that is.  New episodes of some returning shows plus the debuts of new shows will begin today and continue through the October.  Here at Lower Decks, we’re big fans of television.  Huge fans.  Some of the best science fiction and fantasy these days is found on television.  And some of the worst.
