Does anyone else think Hawkins knew exactly which frequency to tune to in order to get the latest information? Or was he truly fixing the radio in the hope that someone would be broadcasting something helpful and he just had fantastic luck...

Hawkins is one of my favorite character. The Morse code he was receiving was a partial list of the 21 NUKED cities.

One of the things I like about Jericho is the little insights and spoilers that are done in Morse code

Thanks, again, for more Jericho talk.

So, one of the reasons they found it easy enough to find shelter for that many people was probably because the vast majority of houses in Kansas have storm shelters. Those people who did just stayed in their own homes. Those that didn't or those that were too scared to stay by themselves are the ones that needed shelter.

Again, Hawkins is very well trained. It's not known by episode 2, but his background is pretty intense. And Eric's description of radiation poisoning was have been enough to convince me to get the heck out of dodge, or underground as it was.

Heather Lisinski rocks, doesn't she? First the "this is how you know your left from your right" stuff, now "get out of my way and let me fix the ventilation system". And Emily proves blonde is NOT synonymous with dumb. She's a pretty smart cookie (except for the glaring fact that she gave up Jake for Roger).

Hawkins, at this stage, is trying to figure out who is responsible for everything. He definitely has a trust no one attitude, and who could blame him?

I don't know which teen was more annoying, just that they both were. I am leaning more toward Dale, though.
