Designed with all-metal construction and a 6-quart capacity, this powerful stand mixer features a 575-watt motor for handling tough mixing jobs. It can effectively mix up to 14 cups of all-purpose flour and produce up to 8 pounds of mashed potatoes. The mixer can also churn through double batches of bread dough with the included burnished PowerKnead spiral hook, which replicates hand kneading with a forceful punching and rolling action. The mixer's 10-speed slide control ranges from a very fast whip to a very slow stir, while its Soft Start mixing function helps minimize ingredient splatter and flour puff with gentle acceleration to the selected speed after start-up. An electronic speed sensor helps maintain a consistent mixing speed, even when adding ingredients. For commercial-style motor protection, the mixer automatically shuts off when overload is detected.

I just re-watched the episode today and looked up that whole fraternization policy dialogue, because I was quite thrown. When you have a look at the whole Trek Universe and especially the J/C fanbase you find the undeterred opinion that Janeway and Chakotay never enter into a relationship because of Starfleet protocol (what was that? Starfleet has always been reluctant to regulate personal lives?)
Anyway, I don't quite agree that this episode doesn't really work. Chakotay is after all an anthropologist, has studied various races and their mating behaviour for that matter, and their whole discussion was after all just an educated guess. The huge creature might as well have been a parent to the smaller ones or whatever. What always throws me though in this episode is, that from the beginning on you can see that something is up with Ensign Wildman. She's never been an important character and suddenly they can't show her enough. There should have been a gentler way to introduce her into the plot, I think.
Mating compatibilty? It is quite frankly discussed and from what we have seen on Trek in general I wouldn't be surprised if mating between humans and elephants would be possible with medical intervention. We are after all in the future and broken bones are healed within seconds where we need weeks if not months.
Totally with you in that Ocampa thing there though. That was off.
All in all though, I really like this episode. And nice review.
