The final numbers for the opening weekend of Nemesis are in, and the results are disappointing - $18,513,305. That's a tab short of the 20 million Paramount hoped for. Time will tell as whether or not this will prevent more Trek movies in the future.

UPDATE:

The estimated opening weekend figures have been posted at Box Office Mojo, and the results are dismal - $18,750,000, the lowest Trek debut to date. Nemesis is currently rated #2 at the box office, slighly behind the new J-Lo movie Maid in Manhattan. Note, this estimate can change at any moment.
