Scifi Pulse has posted an excerpt from issue 99 of SFX magazine, in which writer Dave Golder caught up with Tom Hardy and discussed Shinzon. Below is an excerpt: "I read the script and it was unbelievably, UNBELIEVABLY good for a young man. Most young adolescent parts are whining about why they can't get this girl, and why nobody loves them, and why their lives are so terrible. Anakin Skywalker? [...] One of the problems that Hardy had was that he was not available to attend a screen-test because at the time Nemesis was first mentioned to him, he was on location in Morocco. But this did not prevent Hardy from coming up with his own unique plan to get in on some Star Trek action. "So I put myself on video and sent it to 'THEM' at Paramount. (Hardy changes beat and starts spewing in an American accent) 'Come over for a screen-test.' So I got back from Morocco and I stepped off the plane on Saturday; slept on the Sunday; Monday afternoon - Screen test in LA. Five o'clock. On the Enterprise. With Patrick Stewart. Great, I do this every day.... NOT!" To read more, click here.
