The Hollywood Reporter reports that Nemesis has failed to be nominated for the Academy Award for best makeup. In fact, several other genre films such as The Two Towers and Men in Black II also failed to make the list.

One source sites that not enough of the members were not able to see Nemesis, thus it never was able to gain support.
